SuperHost

Delete your account

You can do this yourself, from inside the app, without asking us. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

In the app

  1. 1Open SuperHost and go to the Profile tab.
  2. 2Tap Privacy & safety.
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  4. 4Read what will be removed, then confirm.

Removed for good

  • Your profile, name and email
  • Your sign-in, on every device
  • Your saved trips and saved hosts
  • Your host listing, services and photos
  • Any identity documents you uploaded
  • Your notification settings and push tokens

Kept, anonymized

  • Reviews you wrote, with your name removed
  • Past bookings, with your name removed
  • Messages, as the other person’s record of the conversation
  • Payment records, for as long as tax law requires

Why some things are kept

A host's rating is built from what guests wrote about them. If deleting an account erased its reviews, anyone who received a bad one could remove it by signing up again, and every rating on SuperHost would stop meaning anything. So the review stays and your name comes off it. The same applies in reverse to your booking history, which is also the host's record of work they did.

If something is in the way

An upcoming booking or a payout still in flight will stop deletion, and the app names which one it is. Cancel the booking or wait for the payout to land, then try again.

If you cannot open the app

Email toyeonikoyi@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you within 30 days. We may ask one question to confirm it is your account, and nothing else.
