Terms of Service
Last updated 11 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Muse Interactive (“SuperHost”, “we”) covering the SuperHost app and this website. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not use SuperHost.
What SuperHost is
SuperHost is a marketplace. Hosts are independent people offering their own time and local knowledge, at prices they set themselves. They are not our employees, contractors or agents, and we are not a party to the arrangement between you and them. We provide the platform, take payment, and set the rules of conduct below. What actually happens on the night is between the two of you.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself.
Requests, bookings and prices
- Every price shown is a total, not an hourly rate. There is no meter and no per-message charge.
- Sending a request does not book anything and does not charge you. You add a card at that point but nothing is taken.
- Your card is charged when a host accepts. A request that is declined, withdrawn, or that expires unanswered never touches it.
- If a payment fails after a host has accepted, the booking is marked unpaid and both of you are told. The host is not obliged to go ahead until it is resolved.
- SuperHost keeps 15% of each booking. The rest is paid to the host by Stripe.
Cancellations and refunds
Either side may cancel a booking before it happens. When a paid booking is cancelled, we refund the guest in full. A completed booking cannot be cancelled. We do not currently charge a cancellation fee to either side, and hosts who repeatedly cancel confirmed bookings may lose access to the platform.
If something went genuinely wrong with a booking, email toyeonikoyi@gmail.com and we will look at it.
If you host
- You may only host in a city you actually live in, and you must be able to deliver what you list. Selling a Night Out you cannot get people into is grounds for removal.
- You are responsible for your own taxes, licences and any insurance you need. We file US tax forms where required and provide your statements.
- Payouts run through Stripe Connect, and Stripe's own terms and identity checks apply to your payout account.
- Photos you upload must be yours to use and must show what you are actually selling. All of them are reviewed before publication.
- Reputation numbers — ratings, response rate, acceptance rate — are calculated by us from real activity and cannot be edited.
Conduct
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Using SuperHost means agreeing to that, and we remove content and accounts that break it.
Do not use SuperHost to:
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against or endanger anyone.
- Post sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
- Impersonate anyone, or create a listing for a person who is not you.
- Arrange anything illegal, or move a booking off the platform to avoid fees or the record a conversation provides.
- Solicit, or offer, anything of a sexual nature.
You can report or block anyone from their profile or from a conversation, and you can report a single photo, message or review without reporting the person who wrote it. Blocking takes effect immediately, needs no reason, stops contact in both directions, and removes that person and their content from what you see. Every block and report reaches a moderator. We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these rules, without notice where someone's safety is involved.
Meeting people
SuperHost involves meeting a stranger in a place you may not know. We review photos, verify host identity documents, and keep messages on the record, but we do not run criminal background checks and we cannot guarantee anyone's conduct. Meet somewhere public the first time, tell someone where you are going, and keep the conversation in the app. Use your judgement, and cancel if something feels wrong.
Your content
What you write and upload stays yours. You give us a licence to display it inside SuperHost for the purpose of running the service. Reviews and messages are kept as a record even after you delete your account, with your name removed, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Liability
SuperHost is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts and omissions of hosts or guests. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid through SuperHost in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature survive — content licences, liability, and anything already owed — continue after closure.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and the courts of Harris County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
Changes
We will tell you in the app before any material change takes effect. Continuing to use SuperHost after that means you accept the new version.
